STRENGTHS:. Blink can teleport himself (along with possessions such as clothing and others in direct physical contact) instantaneously to another place that he has been.
WEAKNESS: In theory, Blink can teleport to any place he has already been, however he must have been there physically - photographs or descriptions of places will not work. Blink can take possessions and even other people with him when he teleports. But they must be in direct physical contact with his skin. For example, change in his pocket would not teleport with him. So if you are hitching a ride with Blink, make sure he is touching you, and your clothing.And when Blink is nervous, or under strain, he has a tendency to well, blink in and out of existence.

IDENTIFYING FEATURES. Blink has no piercings, tattoos or scars. About the only indentifying feature he might have is his smile (it is rather bright and infectious) otherwise he is pretty unassuming and forgettable.
OVERALL. Not too tall, not too big, Blink is generally... average. His brown hair shifts from dark to light depending on the season and how much sun he gets. His eyes are a clear blue. Sneakers , jeans, t-shirts and hoodies - this is Blink's standard attire. He also wears a steel chain around his neck that is almost always worn under his shirt from which he hangs things like his keys.

OVERALL. Blink was always a pretty bright kid. Well, at least when it came to figuring things out, like how to make a rocket out of a pop bottle and some Mentos. When it came to understanding people however... Blink just didn't get it. You would think for such a fearless and determined kid (he jumped off roof into a pile of leaves when he was nine) he would be able to overcome his shyness... but no. His power didn't help either.. when he was about to get his first kiss... he blinked out of sight only to flicker back into reality -behind- Becky Sims just in time to slobber all over the back of her head. Yeah. He might have been happy-go-lucky at one time, but after his mom died he became somewhat disillusioned with the world.. where once he saw the good in people.. now he just sees bad. So why not be bad himself?

OVERALL. Archibald Tanner never knew his father. When he was younger, his mom said he had been in the Navy, but as he grew older he learned that was a lie. His dad had been a one night stand: a bottle of Chardonnay and a wickedly charming smile.
His mom was a waitress. She named him after her Archie, from the comic books. She thought Archibald sounded more prestigious than Archie, so that was that. They lived together in a small apartment, just the two of them. It wasn't a luxurious life, but looking back, it wasn't a bad life.
His ability first appeared as he was good through puberty. He was sitting in the cafeteria at school, alone as usual, when he started... flickering. Someone shouted out: Look! Archie is blinking! And the name stuck, Blink. His ability to teleport freaked him out at first. It was his mom who helped him see that it was a special gift, and she even helped him test out exactly what he could do. She also taught him how he should never use his power for evil because with great power comes great responsibility.... ok, she stole that from Spiderman. But still....
Blink's mom was diagnosed with cancer a few years later. The treatment took alot out of her, but was starting to work when their money ran out. Blink tried to get a job, but even if he managed to find a job, minimum wage wasn't going to pay for his mom's cancer drugs. He wanted to just take the money, he knew he could do it, it was just sitting there in the bank where his mom opened his first bank account. But his mom told him he should never use his powers to steal didn't she?
Somehow they would find a way....
Except they didn't. Blink's mom died when he was sixteen. Without any other family he was put into 'the system'. He didn't last long. Blink had lost his home, his life, and most importantly his mom. And he could have done something about it... he could have gotten the money to save his mom. It had been all his fault.
He ran away. Or he blinked away. Blink did what he should have done while his mom still had a chance... he took what he wanted. And he has been doing so ever since.
